Blog Scrapbook - Put Your Blog In Your Hands

8:35 AM

When I started blogging I thought of it as an online scrapbook, a photo journal of our family life.

Blogging is more than just that to me now, as it has introduced me to online friends I never would have "met" otherwise! I am grateful for the community of online Catholics that inspire me.

As a scrapbooker, I knew the family joy of having something tangible to page through. Most of my gifts are scrapbooks of events and I make one every year of our year in pictures. I upload photos for each month to Shutterfly.com and turn into hardback books that my family TREASURES. See a sample HERE. I wanted to do something like that for my blog.

I found the easiest site to do so and highly recommend it!! It effortlessly grabs your whole blog or whatever dates you assign and turns it into a very affordable hardbound, glossy-paged book. I have made one for each of the 3 years of my blog and luv it!

  1. I've heard about this and am already wondering if I'll go this route. My blog started as a way to showcase what our family is doing without sending tons of massive emails to friends and family.

As for scrapbooking, I have the supplies and *want* to do it. I just haven't done it. Wonder if that could be a school 'subject' ~ family history could count as part of social studies, right ;o)

BTW ~ I still love to look through the QOP Yearbook from our first year in Maryland. Lots of good memories...

  3. This is very perfect for me. I have been blogging for five years and can't afford all of the books right now, all at once. Maybe I should put them in my "cart" and ask for them for my birthday and Christmas? Thanks so much for the link!
