Sunday Silence - Photographing Fall

It is not summer anymore, but there are still roses on the vine.

Today was so beautiful. I was able to find some quiet time to walk around...by myself...silently with my camera and have some photo therapy. In the quiet and beautiful fall I am refreshed by these images.

Pretty light, pretty breeze...pretty colors, pretty trees.

I hope you also found moments of peaceful reflection amidst God's glory.

  1. Beautiful photos...we have roses still blooming too. I rarely photograph the roses though. I should I guess. It was very very windy here today, but so sunny and clear, and cool.

  2. Beautiful photography Allison. You have a gift. And I like the title, "Sunday Silence". That was also the name of a famous race horse some years back. Take care. Joyce

  4. Thanks Jamie Jo and Joyce.

Joyce, I adored Sunday Silence. Since childhood, the Derby has been a tradition and I'm partial to the all black horses with a streak of white. Sunday Silence was my favorite!

  5. Absolutely beautiful photos, Allison! I just love this time of year. It is wonderful to take the time and appreciate God's creation. Too often it is overlooked due to "busyness." :-(

    God bless,
    Lisa

  7. What gorgeous photos. I love the colors especially the second one. We are just barely seeing fall color here.
