The Lover of Your Soul is Waiting - St. Ann's Adoration Chapel
Eucharistic Adoration is resting in peace with Our Lord and Savior.
During an hour of silent adoration before the Blessed Sacrament, I had the opportunity to bring to Him all the requests of many who have asked for prayer this Lent. An hour of silence, before His gaze calmed and refreshed me. Jesus can not be outdone in generosity so, of course, my time devoted to Him brought graces to me in the form of a soothed spirit.
"Could you not watch with me one hour?" Jesus said to his disciples in the Garden of Gethsemane. That is scripture and that 's a holy hour.
One time-honored practice of spiritual communication is the holy hour in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament. The origin of the holy hour is the question Christ asked his disciples in the Garden: "Could you not watch one hour with me?" If you are in the midst of spiritual torpor or just wish to grow in the spiritual life, you must spend time with God. (See link above)
Do you have a perpetual adoration chapel near you? If you make the hour I KNOW you will tell me it changed you.
The Lover of your soul is waiting....
The adoration chapel will be remodeled in two weeks.
