Invention Convention & Quotes on Learning
Invention Convention!
One of our local museums has this yearly event. My husband's company gets involved in the tinkering room, where kids can take apart electronics and see what's inside.

Dad and the big boys volunteered to cart away pieces that could be recycled after tinkering.
Then, it was over to the inventor tables, loaded with creative items to spark invention.
Then, they received their "patents," certificates of invention.

On the way out, the kids got to see the inside workings of a jeep. We all agreed that this was a great event and a reminder of how much learning excitement happens outside the classroom.
