"She incited them to mental prayer, teaching them its excellence and necessity, because the noblest occupation of the reasonable creature is to raise his mind above created things to meditate on the divine, and that nothing should be preferred to this holy exercise."

What a beautiful image! And that quote is beautiful, too. Thank you for encouraging all of us to post on Mary during May. It was wonderful to ponder more about her, as well as be inspired by so many lovely posts on other blogs. Have a blessed Monday, and happy June! Can you believe it's June?! I can't ...
WELCOME TO THIS PHOTO - JOURNAL celebrating the traditional, Roman Catholic faith ... in words and images. I believe that Catholicism & The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass are the GOOD, the TRUE and the BEAUTIFUL in this life and what better f o c u s could my camera (and words) share. This blog began in May of 2007, when I started homeschooling my 4. In 2011, it was the reason we traveled to Rome, to participate in the VATICAN BLOGGERS MEETING, where my goal to promote Catholic social media began. Today, 2 of children have graduated and attend Franciscan University in Steubenville. It is so encouraging to have this community, to know you are out there and to share what we learn with each other. May we do so, AMDG, for the glory of God and all for Jesus, Mary & Joseph. Totus Tuus! +JMJ+
Wow, beautiful, beautiful picture of Our Lady and the rosary. Very very symbolic with the roses.
