At age two my "snorkie" evidenced a great devotion to St Pio. I thought it was wonderful until I realized that he too thought that the beautiful bearded Franciscan was ObiWan Kenobi. Actually, the Jedi seem a little Franciscan...and the ONE who didn't remain true to his calling (and celibate) caused all the trouble!
teehee, laugh, laugh, laugh. I'm sending this to my oldest son who is the proud owner of a very real looking light saber, the one who visits nieces/nephews and has them all mesmerized (and scared at times) with the darned thing. He's a funny guy. He will get this video and never see the thing in the same way again. LOL
WELCOME TO THIS PHOTO - JOURNAL celebrating the traditional, Roman Catholic faith ... in words and images. I believe that Catholicism & The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass are the GOOD, the TRUE and the BEAUTIFUL in this life and what better f o c u s could my camera (and words) share. This blog began in May of 2007, when I started homeschooling my 4. In 2011, it was the reason we traveled to Rome, to participate in the VATICAN BLOGGERS MEETING, where my goal to promote Catholic social media began. Today, 2 of children have graduated and attend Franciscan University in Steubenville. It is so encouraging to have this community, to know you are out there and to share what we learn with each other. May we do so, AMDG, for the glory of God and all for Jesus, Mary & Joseph. Totus Tuus! +JMJ+
Ah, we are back to my Gabriel noting the resemblance between St. Pio of Pietrelcina and Obi Wan Kenobi of Star Wars!
